The Multifamily Energy Efficiency Rebates are financial incentives offered to building owners and managers for undertaking energy efficiency upgrades in their building. Projects can include replacing HVAC systems, in-suite appliances, lighting and much more. Basically, any project that reduces peak electricity demand (kW) and/or electricity consumption (kWh) is eligible.

The province-wide initiative is funded by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) and managed by GreenSaver outside the 416 area. The City of Torontoʼs Office of Energy Efficiency is delivering this program in the 416 area code through its Better Buildings Partnership office.
